Has it really been 9 years since our first GPGC Palm Springs outing!? Back by popular demand:  the GPGC 2-day Desert Classic in Palm Springs!

This year we'll be heading back to the award-winning DESERT WILLOW GOLF RESORT and INDIAN CANYONS GOLF RESORT! 

Desert Willow Golf Resort has emerged as the favorite place to play in the Palm Springs area for many. In fact, Golf Digest named the Firecliff course one of the "Places To Play." This tournament tested layout is one of only three courses in California and one of the best 50 in the United Sates to receive this distinction in terms of conditioning. Firecliff is a true test of skill where golfers must negotiate their way around extensive natural areas, over 100 bunkers, and numerous water features.

Our event will be Saturday October 3 and Sunday October 4. This is a limited 40 person field and guests are welcome (members should sign up their guests at the same time they sign themselves up). On Saturday we’ll be playing Indian Canyons SOUTH COURSE, shotgun at 7:30am. On Sunday we’ll be playing Desert Willon FIRECLIFF, shotgun at 7:30am. Both days of GPGC tournament golf on this award winning course and tee prizes for just $170! We'll be making payouts for the two day total per flight (guests will have their own flight) as well as offering games you can enter each day. AND we'll have some nice tee gifts! On Saturday evening we'll try to bring the group together for dinner/drinks, probably something Mexican for Cinco de Mayo, depends on where things are at with Covid.

These away events with members are always a great time, and our Desert Classic is our premiere away event for the year. Get your spot early, this event always sells out early. (Please note that if you sign up you're committing to the event. We have to pay for these spots in advance. If you need to drop out you'll need to find a replacement or forfeit your entrance fee.)
